    Alaska Airlines Seat Assignment Changed Before Boarding

    Booked a window seat on Alaska Airlines weeks in advance, but when I checked in at the airport, the seat was changed to a middle one. No notification or explanation. Does this happen often, and is there usually a way to get the original seat back at the gate?

      Did you check your reservation in the Alaska Airlines app or Speed Stars Online website shortly before your flight to confirm the seat assignment hadn’t changed earlier?
