    I used my editing profile ( Edius ) on my laptop, to slow down the lick even more. Started at 60 BPM and ended up at 106 BPM for submission. Funny enough, after submitted my video, parts of that lick are now entering into my lick vocabulary, without even trying. What a great contest! Good luck to all!

      Thanks Dweezil! I thought I cheated by hammering ascending, instead of the last upstroke. Thanks for the correction on the wrong notes on the descend. As an extra challenge, before I shot the video, I transcribed the lick without my guitar. Now of course, I’m going to go back and transcribe the lick again, maybe this time with my guitar

      Hopefully I’ll get the rhythms correct the second time

        I got the lick from Dweezil... He plays it slowly... If you pay close attention...
        I don't know... I come from a time where there was no youtube tutorials and TABs were not always available... :)
        It was fun to figure things out for yourself...

        I play the 10th fret on the D string, while going up, instead of the 9th fret as you do...

          I play the 9th fret on the A,D and G strings ascending but the descending portion lands on the 10th fret for the D string and A string.

            Upon further inspection of my own video, I think I may have cheated when I played the lick. Anyone but Dweezil know how?

              Nice work on the lick and the whole narrative for your video! You've given the lick a slightly different rhythmic context and have note note different than me that I could tell but I don't know how you're cheating.
