Love the breakdown of Take Your Whiskey Home . I never heard the feedback leading into the solo and now will never NOT hear it. And the nods the the Who and the Beatles on A Simple Rhyme dead on. And good to recognize Michael Anthony on this. I think his best album as he really drives a number of the songs. (and you are correct on the "legend" of Growth and I know I read an interview with Eddie in Guitar Player or Guitar World where he talked about it just as you described)
This is great Dweezil. A quick thought. Although I do like VH3 and a massive fan of Extreme (can't wait for Nuno and Fair Warning) I get why you may not go through that one. But how about you get Wolfgang to go through a Different Kind of Truth. That album is great and his playing (As Is, You and Your Blues etc) is stellar. I'll pay extra for that one!
