Not giving up control of data by not making it a app. has a great extra perk. It makes it more like listening to vinyl thus making the experience more special by having limits on how it’s enjoyed.

Dweezil

Indeed. More purposeful listening can occur.

I have a similar feeling ! When we invest in something because we’re curious about new art it makes us really listen and give it a chance in a way that connects on a more significant level!

I'm in the red. I love it.

Glad you're enjoying the site!

Nedim K.

Cool! Well there be an app eventually, an so that runs smoother than the browser?

Dweezil

Apps require the business to give away all the data to Apple and Google as well as 20-30% of the revenue of the company just to be in their distribution channels. Reward Music wants the artists to keep their data and protect their fans' data so it is not opting in for that business model.

Nedim K.

Oh, of course! Yeah, maybe it's not as convenient as it could be as an app, but I'm all for not giving away that crazy amount of money and giving away the data to those giants who just own the platform.

If there's anything concrete that I'd suggest now, it's just to be able to sort the albums/releases chronologically.

Dweezil

Hi Nedim,

You can sort the albums chronologically if you want. In the top left corner you will see a sort by menu. Choose the option called oldest. It will make it chronological. Best, DZ
