OK .... sitting down? 20,000 fans are packed in the venue, all wearing their Sunday best .... and we arrive, 6 country bumpkins might as well be wearing work clothes and we are shown to our reserved seats. Actually our seats aren’t too bad close to the stage, we’re all excited to see the show.  All eyes are on us, we stick out like a sore thumb, it’s probably 1970.

Then suddenly the main attraction takes the stage, the Osmond family, they are all there, Donny, Marie, Jimmy, the other Osmonds but it’s not the concert my father promised it’s actually a Mormon Fireside Evening. We sit through the religilous mumbo jumbo and finally the Osmonds sing a single number to end the show. I’m sure my Irish catholic father could not get out of there fast enough.

More of a nightmare concert than an imaginary show .... hate to admit it but I was there

Dweezil ever attend an Osmonds Show?

Richard Drakes

Trying to think of a name for this combo:

A totally stoned Jim Morrison on vocals, Johnny Thunders on guitar, Chris Squire on bass, Liberace on keys, and Sammy Davis jnr on drums.

Dweezil

Sammy on drums. Nice choice.

For example, I'm going to watch Jimi Hendrix and Jeff Beck sit in with Keith Moon on drums, James Jamerson on bass, George Duke on Keys, and Steven Tyler on Lead vocals. They're playing at the Troubadour in LA. Who's going? I hear Tina Turner and the Ikettes will be singing too. It's gonna be a weird combo, especially since they are playing mostly gospel versions of ABBA songs.

Tommy Quirk

I've been OCD'ing about Keith Moon in the "Gospel ABBA" band.

I'm getting a real "Gender Reveal Disaster" vibe about it.    It could go in anyway at anytime.....and I still want to see it.

Dweezil

If only we could see and hear such things.

Gary F.

Hmmm interesting. It's got a real Dread Zepellinesq vibe about it.

For the encore can we get Steven Tyler on drums and Keith Moon doing vocals?
